CodeVita 7: Round 1 of Zone 2 started on August 10, the results were announced on August 16, and I also received an invitation to participate in the results scheduled for August 18, 2018 at Galaxy Park, Industrial Zone 63, Noida Industrial Zone. Because there is only 1 day to prepare for the interview. I recommend that if you solve a problem in CodeVita, you have a 95% chance of getting an interview call, so be prepared beforehand.
I called me at 10:00 AM, but I arrived at the TCS office before 8:30 with only 1-2 students present, and at 10:00 AM, the TCS application submitted to them and the letter after submitting the application, they started calling the participants. The interview took place in a big area, I think there was the cafeteria, at all the tables, there were 2-3 interviewees present, our names were on the phone, and we had to go and guide our tables. Here’s a tip to always get to the interview place before the time, it helps you feel comfortable, and the interview will take place as early as possible, because there are 1000 students coming, so it will be busy.
My name was asked for an interview and I was directed to the last table. At my desk, three people together, HR, MR and Technical all three things together, for some people, HR, MR, Technical happen in different rounds. It all depends on the panelists.
I was so nervous, even though I didn’t know which HR, MR and technical interviewers were.
Below is a summary of the interview.

Q] How are you doing today?
I told them that this was my first interview and I was excited.
Q] Tell us about your ego?
I started to tell me about myself, but due to nervousness, I became blank in the middle, and even though I didn’t know what I was talking about, I somehow ended my introduction. Here’s a tip to practice a lot of frequently asked questions with your friends or make videos individually, as these questions will always be asked.
Q] You solved a problem in CodeVita, what is the problem, and what is your approach?
I told them the problem statement and the method to follow.
Q] Write pseudocode to sort an array using any sort algorithm?
At that point I only thought of choosing sorting, so I explained a little bit.
Q] Which sort is best, and why?
I told them heap sorting, but why I was confused because it was complicated, I told them.
Q] Is there a Java project?
As I mentioned in the intro about Java, they asked me about any projects I had done in Java, but I told them no, but then I realized that I had done a small android project in Java, but at that point I said no to them, don’t.
Q] Tell us about your project?
I told them that I had two smaller projects, one in Android and one in Machine Learning.
Q: What is your machine learning project?
I explained it because it was very basic.
Q] What is the use case for this project?
Because it was a very basic project, I told them I was just for learning purposes.
Q: If you had the opportunity, would you join Microsoft?
I told them, no. But they asked me why Microsoft gave you the best opportunity, and I just didn’t know what to say. Be ready to respond to such issues.
Q] Tell us about your strength?
I tell them about my strengths, but they ask why that’s your strengths, and I tell them a story. Therefore, always prepare a story to support your answers.
Q] If selected, would you give the job to a friend?
I said in my strength that I was very nice, so they asked me this question because I was kind enough to my work friends. I told them no, why not.
Q] Will you be working on any shift or in any field?
yes, and then they told me everything was on the recording, so to be wise, I told them I was okay at night and there was no problem with the redistribution.
Q: You need to sign a bond at 50k training because we spend a lot of money on your training and you have to pay if you leave before 1 year.
I replied yes, I understand.
Q] Do you have any questions for us?
I asked them about my feedback and they told me not to do it and you’ll see the results. After that, I asked them what field you work in, and he told me that I work at TCS, and I was asking about technology, but the word didn’t come to mind, and finally I offered options like web, android, and they replied in TCS, you have to use all the technology.

My whole body felt warm, after that, they told me I could leave and the results will be announced next week, some students were asked to participate in multiple competitions, but that doesn’t mean you weren’t selected.
On August 30th, the results were announced, luckily I was selected, and also accepted the offer for the digital round, the test of which will take place on September 16th, and even if I am rejected in the digital round, my codeVita offer will be 7 lac. Still valid. 40 students from my university, about 30 students. One of them gets a digital package of 7 LAC directly.
Here, the choice also depends on luck, assigned to your group members, what they ask and how many problems you solve in the codevita. Because when the results came in, some of the top students were not selected.
